Ashley McBryde is an American singer-songwriter born and raised in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. These days, she is most recognized for creating and performing country songs. As a child, she was always attracted to many types of music and was raised in Arkansas.

A songwriting passion was also developed by McBryde, who later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue a music career. Since she started her career in 2006, Ashley has put forth albums like Girl Going Nowhere and Jalopies & Expensive Guitars. Between 2006 and 2011, McBryde issued two albums on his label.

Her 2016 extended play (EP), Jalopies & Expensive Guitars, was a favorite of Eric Church’s. His support helped her get a country music recording deal with Warner Music Nashville.

Ashley McBryde is a country music singer and songwriter from the United States. She was born in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, on July 29, 1983, and grew up in a musical household. McBryde relocated to Nashville in 2007 to pursue a musical career and started singing at local clubs.

McBryde’s first album, “Jalopies and Expensive Guitars,” was published in 2016, and she received critical praise for her songs and strong vocals. In 2017, she was named one of the “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone.

McBryde’s breakout tune “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” was a country radio success in 2017. She has subsequently released two additional albums, “Girl Going Nowhere” in 2018 and “Never Will” in 2020, and has been nominated for several awards, including a Grammy for Best Country Album in 2021.

After falling from a horse and landing on her head in 2021, Ashley McBryde (@ashleymcbryde) had to postpone several of her headline This Town Talks Tour dates.

She needed scalp sutures after the incident because she had a concussion. In contrast to her problems due to her weight, it did not pose a significant problem for her career.

Ashley McBryde, a Mammoth Spring native, a celebrity in the country music industry, and an all-around badass, won the Best Music Event of the Year award at the Academy of Country Music’s annual awards ceremony for their duet Never Wanted to Be That Girl with Carly Pearce.

Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde had a duet performance on Monday night at the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards (Mar. 7). Never Wanted to Be That Girl, which had earlier in the evening won the ACM Music Event of the Year award, was performed by the female powerhouses in a stripped-down rendition.

The newest album by Pearce, 29: Written In Stone, has the song Never Wanted To Be That Girl, co-written by the duet partners and Shane McAnally.

On Monday, March 7, at 8/7c, the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards were broadcast exclusively on Prime Video. The two-hour program, which comprised 20+ performances by some of country music’s biggest superstars and up-and-coming newcomers, was co-hosted by Dolly Parton, a worldwide icon, Jimmie Allen, and Gabby Barrett. It was a live webcast without interruptions.
